I am not wishcasting that these players lose their roles; however, the writing is on the wall for others on the roster to step up at a cheaper cost. And the churn of the NFL happens quickly, so here are five veterans’ situations to monitor throughout the 2026 season.

Tony Pollard | RB | TEN

Unrestricted Free Agent Year ➡️ 2027

Dead Cap / Cap Savings (Post June 1, 2027 release) ➡️ $0 / $0

Fantasy Points Per Game ➡️ 2025: 10.9 (#29) — 2024: 12.5 (#22) — 2023: 13.1 (#23)

Contract

Pollard enters his third season with the Titans, with a new coaching staff looking to improve the offense. Both Pollard and fellow veteran Tyjae Spears are unrestricted free agents following this season. Unfortunately, the poor offense has not helped Pollard’s fantasy production; however, he will turn 30 next season. The aging running back is not cooked, but the new coaching staff may be looking for a new recipe.

Past Performance

Coming into the league, Pollard played the change-of-pace back to Cowboys’ bell cow Ezekiel Elliott. Since 2023, Pollard has taken on a larger role, handling ~270-300 touches in each of the past three seasons. The efficiency Pollard showed in a smaller role didn't quite translate as his volume increased. Pollard was the RB-8 in 2022 (15.6 ppg), but the last three seasons have reflected a back-end RB-2 to RB-3.

Environment

As mentioned, the Titans have a new coaching staff, and they used draft capital and cap space this offseason to surround Cam Ward with some help. The notable addition to the Titans’ backfield is former Nittany Lion Nicholas Singleton, who was taken in the 5th round. The draft capital is not significant, but a Jones fracture in his right foot depressed Singleton’s value in the pre-draft process. I expect Singleton to get involved and wouldn't be surprised if, this time next season, the Tennessee backfield looks much different. Pollard may land in the back-end RB-2 territory for fantasy football, but unless he takes a steep discount, I expect the Titans to look to retool their running back room.

J.K. Dobbins | RB | DEN

Unrestricted Free Agent Year ➡️ 2028

Dead Cap / Cap Savings (Post June 1, 2027 release) ➡️ $2M / $8M

Fantasy Points Per Game ➡️ 2025: 11.6 (#26) — 2024: 14.8 (#18) — 2023: 11.7 (N/A)

Contract

After a one-year deal with the Broncos, Dobbins signed a two-year extension to remain with the team back in March. The deal is effectively a one-year extension considering how palatable the dead cap figure is after this season. This contract reflects Dobbins’ production since joining Denver while acknowledging his injury history.

Past Performance

Dobbins has been anything but consistent, putting up double-digit fantasy points per game since entering the NFL in 2020. Dobbins's biggest hurdle has been availability, as he has never played a full season. From 2022-2025, Dobbins has played in 47% of possible games. Much of Dobbins’ value is as a rusher and red zone back, as he earned approximately 15 carries per game on a 50% snap share, with at least one red zone carry in all but one game. When healthy, Dobbins is still an above-average runner who can be flex-worthy in a committee backfield.

Environment

The Broncos did extend Dobbins in the offseason, but they also spent 4th-round draft capital on a compact back out of Washington, Jonah Coleman. Here is a look back at my thoughts on this year’s rookie running backs, where I slotted Coleman as the RB-2. Adding Coleman speaks to Denver’s vulnerability at RB, as R.J. Harvey will serve as the pass-catching, explosive component of this backfield committee. Denver’s offense has improved under the leadership of Sean Payton, and by extension Davis Webb, as well as with Bo Nix at quarterback. And as Coleman’s role grows, it could mean Dobbins is wearing a different uniform as early as this time next year.

Jerry Jeudy | WR | CLE

Unrestricted Free Agent Year ➡️ 2028

Dead Cap / Cap Savings (Post June 1, 2027 release) ➡️ $8.9M - $16.6M / $4.6M

Fantasy Points Per Game ➡️ 2025: 7.1 (#61) — 2024: 14.2 (#21) — 2023: 8.9 (#55)

Contract

Jeudy signed a fairly lucrative three-year contract extension ahead of the 2024 season on the heels of his rookie deal expiring as a 2020 1st-round pick. During this time, the Browns have remained in QB purgatory without a clear direction as an offense. While Jeudy isn't an unrestricted free agent until 2028, the Browns may continue trimming their salary after the 2026 season. The cap savings are modest if Jeudy were released, so he may stick around another year, but I don't think he'll be on the Browns by the end of his contract.

Past Performance

Lauded for his route-running prowess as a member of the Crimson Tide, Jeudy didn’t post his first 1,000-yard season not until his 5th season. Availability is not the culprit for the so-so fantasy production, as Jeudy has not missed too many games in his six-year career. Jeudy’s two best seasons came in 2022 and 2024, where he finished as the WR-19 and WR-21, respectively. This appears to be Jeudy’s fantasy ceiling, but it remains to be seen if he can put together that level of production for two consecutive seasons.

Environment

The Browns made significant changes this offseason, including a coaching change and several size-able roster moves. Among those roster moves was the drafting of KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. Here are some of my thoughts on these two rookies in the pre-draft process. Using such early draft capital on the same position speaks to the emphasis placed on improving the wide receiver room. Concepcion and Boston couldn’t be a better complement to one another, with the former a compact, explosive receiver and the latter a long, versatile receiver. I think adding these two rookies alongside Jeudy and Harold Fannin is huge for this Browns’ offense; however, I am most concerned Jeudy won't reach that WR-2 ceiling until he is in a different uniform.

Dallas Goedert | TE | PHI

Unrestricted Free Agent Year ➡️ 2027

Dead Cap / Cap Savings (Post June 1, 2027 release) ➡️ $8.2M - $10.0M / $0 (Void years)

Fantasy Points Per Game ➡️ 2025: 12.3 (#5) — 2024: 10.4 (#10) — 2023: 9.7 (#12)

Contract

Goedert received a one-year contract extension, which served as a thank you for his prior year's production and as a tool to reduce his cap hit due to void years in his contract. While those void years still exist, Goedert is slated to become an unrestricted free agent following this season. Goedert turns 32 in a couple of months, and I expect the rest of his career to consist of a series of short contracts like this offseason.

Past Performance

Despite his age and the overall Eagles’ offense in 2025, Goedert had his best fantasy season with 12.3 fantasy points per game and a whopping 11 touchdowns. Considering Goedert had never scored more than 5 touchdowns in any of his prior 7 seasons, it is safe to assume that this is not a sticky stat. However, since 2019, Goedert has never finished outside the top-12 in fantasy amongst the tight end position. This kind of consistency is notable considering the variability of tight end production outside of the top 2-3 players. But as he enters the twilight of his career, it is worth questioning whether the top-12 trend will continue.

Environment

The Eagles’ offense has been in flux since the end of the 2025 season, with the trade of A.J. Brown, the drafting of Makai Lemon and Eli Stowers, the addition of Dontayvion Wicks and Hollywood Brown, and the hiring of new play-caller Sean Mannion. Goedert remains a trusted pass-catcher for Jalen Hurts, but there could be a change in the Eagles’ offense. With a reduction in touchdowns, Goedert could have trouble increasing his target volume to compensate. Regardless of whether what your thoughts are on the Eagles’ offense as a whole for 2026, it’s a very real possibility that this is the beginning of phasing in Stowers and trimming Goedert’s target share. In this scenario, Goedert remains an important part of the offense, but his fantasy viability is diminished. And following 2026, there is no guarantee that Goedert remains in Philadelphia (see Zach Ertz’s exit).

Chuba Hubbard | RB | CAR

Unrestricted Free Agent Year ➡️ 2029

Dead Cap / Cap Savings (Post June 1, 2027 release) ➡️ $1.5M - $1.5M / $7.5M

Fantasy Points Per Game ➡️ 2025: 8.4 (#40) — 2024: 16.1 (#13) — 2023: 10.7 (#33)

Contract

Halfway through the 2024 season, a career year, Hubbard signed an extension keeping him in Carolina until he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2029. Hubbard has served as a leader on the Panthers as they have churned through coaching and front office changes. The current, and seemingly long-term, head coach Dave Canales has spoken highly of Hubbard and despite a calf injury hindering his 2025 season. It’s important to note that the structure of Hubbard’s contract leaves a huge cap savings with reasonable dead cap if he were not on the roster this time next year.

Past Performance

Hubbard joined the Panthers as a 4th-round pick in 2021 and was not expected to threaten one of the franchise’s best running backs, Christian McCaffrey. Possibly the most notable accomplish for Hubbard is surviving the Matt Rhule era in Charlotte and sticking it out as the team righted the ship. Following the trade of McCaffrey to the 49ers in December of the 2022 season, Hubbard opened the 2023 season as the Panthers’ starting running back. And as previously mentioned, it was in 2024 when Hubbard had his breakout season finishing as the RB-13 in fantasy with 16.1 points per game. But there was one fact looming over the Panthers’ backfield, the drafting of Jonathon Brooks.

Environment

The Panthers injected life into the offensive line in 2024 by investing in Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis. This investment and the drafting of Jonathon Brooks in the same year pointed to the Panthers’ intention to emphasize the running game. Multiple knee injuries have thrown a wrench into Brooks’ availability, but optimism sustained regarding what he could do once healthy. Brooks has been a healthy participant throughout the offseason, while unfortunately Hubbard picked up a hamstring injury that hopefully does not impact his Week 1 availability. When both running backs are healthy, I expect a committee backfield, but if Brooks proves to be able to handle enough volume it could mean less for Hubbard. Hubbard’s leadership is invaluable to this Panthers team, but his fantasy production could take a step back as a healthy Brooks usurps his RB-1 role.

Darren Waller | TE | CAR

📈 Bullish: Darren Waller joins a Panthers’ offense that wouldn’t mind another big-bodied pass-catcher, offering huge touchdown upside as a red zone threat.

After briefly stepping away from football to focus on his music career, Darren Waller rejoined the NFL ranks last year as a member of the Dolphins. To say he was a monster in the red zone in 2025 is an understatement. On a measly 34 targets, seven of them came in the red zone, and six were caught for touchdowns. Now a nearly 34-year-old joins a Panthers team that wouldn’t mind having another pass-catcher.

Waller was limited to nine games in 2025, but by all accounts, he joins the Panthers healthy and ready to go. The Panthers’ offense may not be the highest-volume passing team in the NFL, but after Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker, there is an opening. Also, with Tommy Tremble serving as a road-grading blocker, Waller offers a pass-catching complement when the Panthers deploy 12 personnel. Outside of the top tight end options, who have sizeable target volume, I look to stream tight ends with touchdown upside, and Waller is just that. And he shouldn’t cost much as an aging player joining a balanced offense.

• 3rds are already a dice roll, so why not get a veteran tight end with touchdown upside?

Darren Waller + Deebo Samuel + Tyjae Spears ←→ Stefon Diggs

• Diggs immediately steps into the WR-2 role in Washington, but the upside of Waller and Samuel is a better hedge than all my eggs in one Diggs-shaped basket.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt | RB | WAS

📉 Bearish: Bill was shot out of a cannon in his rookie season, but a re-tooled Commanders running back room could limit his role.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, or “Bill”, had a meteoric rise in his rookie season after falling to the 7th round in the 2025 NFL Draft. Brian Robinson had left town, and the Commanders were looking for production following an Austin Ekeler injury. Bill gave the Commanders just that, with 4.6 yards per carry and eight total touchdowns.

No matter the surprise production from Bill in 2025, the Commanders invested in the running back room in the offseason with Rachaad White and Jerome Ford as free agents, as well as Kaytron Allen in the NFL Draft (along with some other additions). White provides the Commanders a solid overall back, with most of his value coming on passing downs. Allen is an intriguing between-the-tackles option after a successful career at Penn State. Ford is a depth player who, like White, is a bit of an all-around back. This group lacks a bell-cow back, so weekly touches may be murky. The one thing I feel confident about is that White will be a primary focus, and I simply do not trust Croskey-Merritt to maintain a large enough role to remain fantasy-relevant. But the story has been exciting!

Jacory Croskey-Merritt + Courtland Sutton ←→ Rhamondre Stevenson

• Stevenson is slated to split touches with TreVeyon Henderson, but Sutton has huge touchdown upside even with the addition of Jaylen Waddle.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt + ‘27 2nd ←→ Jaylen Warren + ‘27 3rd

• I like Warren over Bill, but jumping from the 3rd to the 2nd makes this worthwhile.

➖ To SELL:

Jacory Croskey-Merritt ←→ Nicholas Singleton + ‘28 2nd

• Singleton has a chance to earn the ground work in Tennessee as Tony Pollard’s contract nears its end. Oh, and there is a 2nd round pick to boot!

Jacory Croskey-Merritt + ‘27 3rd ←→ Daniel Jones

• Reports have it that Jones should be back sooner rather than later from his 2025 Achilles injury, so getting a top-24 starting quarterback at this cost is a no-brainer.

Dolphins | WR | MIA

💤 Sleeper: The new-look Dolphins offense may have more upside than expected, with an interesting mix of veteran and rookie receivers helping a resurgent Malik Willis.

Instead of picking one name, this week’s sleeper play is the Dolphins’ wide receiver room. The offense was looking questionable after a new coaching staff and front office cleared out the roster.

Miami made a bold move, trading away Jaylen Waddle and releasing the aging, injured Tyreek Hill. The remaining primary receiver was Malik Washington, and then the Dolphins got to work, adding free agents Jalen Tolbert and Tutu Atwell. Then Miami drafted Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell in the NFL Draft, with the former getting rave offseason reviews while the latter was just activated to start practicing following a collegiate ACL tear. Malik Willis has his first real starting opportunity since his time in Tennessee, and it looks like they will need to put up points to stay in games. With so much uncertainty surrounding the Dolphins’ pass-catchers, don’t be afraid to trade for one or two to see what cream rises to the top.

Malik Washington + ‘27 3rd + ‘28 2nd ←→ Michael Penix

• I have serious concerns about Penix's longevity and production while healthy, so I'm not waiting around, but getting a Dolphin receiver and a pair of picks works for me.

Caleb Douglas ←→ Adonai Mitchell + ‘27 4th

• Douglas may or may not be the WR-1 in Miami, but he should have more opportunity and production than Mitchell, the latter of whom I was not too high on out of Texas.

Chris Bell + Brenton Strange ←→ D’Andre Swift

• Swift was a pleasant surprise in 2025, and with Kyle Monangai's recent knee injury, he should remain relevant in 2026. But I've long believed in Strange, which his new contract supports, and Bell has huge upside.

➖ To SELL:

Malik Washington + ‘27 4th ←→ ‘27 2nd

• I like Washington, but a 2nd is too much to turn down for one of many options as Miami’s WR-1.

Caleb Douglas ←→ ‘28 2nd

• The offseason hype for Douglas has been strong, but I have a hard time turning down a 2nd for a Dolphins’ receiver not named Chris Bell.

Chris Bell ←→ Christian Watson

• I am normally not a proponent of 1-for-1 trades with players at the same position, but the stars appear to be aligning for Watson as the WR-1 in Green Bay after surging back last year from an ACL injury.

A QUICK OVERVIEW

Here is a look at what makes this year’s SFB different from most other fantasy leagues:

• Start 10 - 2 superflex spots and 8 flex spots

• 6 points for every touchdown, quarterbacks included

• No negative points for picks or fumbles

• +10 bonus points for 300/400 yard passing games, 100/200 yard rushing/receiving games, and any 40+ yard rush or pass play or 20+ yard catch

• .5 points per first down and reception

• And a nice TE premium — +1 per catch and per first down for tight ends

Individually, most of this is new to anyone who’s played SFB before. But together, this makes for a draft strategy that places extra emphasis on big arms and explosive pass-catchers. Geoff Lambert has a great SFB tool over at GoingFor2 to compare regular PPR and SFB scoring from the prior season.

MY DRAFT & MY THOUGHTS

My favorite picks:

• ROUND 1️⃣: Ja’Marr Chase

  • Volume and big-play ability, simple as that.

• ROUND 3️⃣: George Pickens -&- ROUND 4️⃣: Dak Prescott

  • I wanted the Dak stack, and I got it.

• ROUND 7️⃣: Christian Watson -&- ROUND 8️⃣: Jordan Love

  • Another stack that I feel is underappreciated relative to ADP.

Where I think I reached:

• ROUND 5️⃣: Ladd McConkey

  • Should bounce back, but in this format I should’ve looked elsewhere.

• ROUND 1️⃣1️⃣: Juwan Johnson

  • The allure of the tight end got me, and with another pass-catcher in New Orleans, there may not be as much work for Johnson.

  ROUND 1️⃣5️⃣: Geno Smith

  • I didn’t really need a third QB even though it is superflex, and despite my optimism, there is a chance that last year’s Geno shows up.

Where I Land

Five SFB’s in, and each one has been better than the last. There is a shared interest in fantasy football, and it is a great way to raise money for charity and meet fellow fantasy enthusiasts. Chris Bell | WR | MIA

📈 Bullish: Chris Bell has the requisite WR-1 size and speed at a dynasty discount and joins a Dolphins depth chart with nothing but opportunity.

It’s easy to be bullish on Chris Bell in dynasty right now, with a torn ACL masking a WR-1 skill set that fell to Round 3. Before the injury, Bell had some first-round buzz out of Louisville, racking up 917 yards in just 11 games and boasting an intriguing blend of size and speed. Miami entered the draft with a massive need at receiver and filled it with multiple players, including Bell, who has the size to line up outside and the contact balance to win after the catch. Behind Malik Washington, the depth chart is his for the taking. Bobby Slowik got a lot out of Nico Collins during his time in Houston, and now he’s calling plays in Miami. Bell’s medical history scared teams off draft weekend, but shouldn’t scare you off your rookie draft board.

• Getting a 1st in a loaded rookie class and a starting WR is a good price for the BTJ mystery box.

Chris Bell ←→ Keon Coleman

• The Keon Coleman experiment has been a rocky one, and if there is anyone still interested, then send him away for Bell.

➖ To SELL:

Chris Bell + Jonah Coleman + ‘28 1st ←→ Drake London

• This is simply too cheap to pass up to get a top dynasty receiver like Drake London.

Chris Bell + Brian Thomas ←→ George Pickens

• Give me George Pickens fresh off a career season instead of Bell and dynasty’s biggest question mark, Brian Thomas.

Omar Cooper Jr. | WR | NYJ

📉 Bearish: Omar Cooper is fighting Garrett Wilson, Kenyon Sadiq, and Breece Hall for touches in an offense that might not have enough to go around.

Omar Cooper snuck into the 1st round of the NFL Draft and joins a Jets offense in need of additional playmakers. Cooper contributes both as a special-teamer and as a receiver, with the latter primarily out of the slot (with the possibility to work as a flanker). Following the draft, Cooper is left battling Garrett Wilson, Kenyon Sadiq, and Breece Hall for touches. I believe what we saw from Geno Smith last year in Las Vegas was rock bottom, but can a recharged Smith feed all these playmakers? I think Wilson and Hall will get their fair share, and it then becomes a weekly dice roll as to who else steps up. A crowded room in a questionable offense leads to a dynasty sell in Cooper.

Omar Cooper ←→ Jayden Reed + ‘27 3rd

• Jayden Reed was re-signed in Green Bay, so there is reason for optimism, but I trust Cooper to hold his value a bit longer if I need to trade him away.

Omar Cooper ←→ Oronde Gadsden + ‘27 2nd

• Oronde Gadsden’s stock dipped this offseason, so take advantage of his value while you still can.

➖ To SELL:

Omar Cooper + Keon Coleman ←→ Terry McLaurin

• Terry McLaurin is no spring chicken, but I fully expect a bounce-back with a healthy Jayden Daniels.

Omar Cooper + ‘28 1st ←→ DeVonta Smith

• Despite my tempered belief in DeVonta Smith’s fantasy ceiling, this is just too good a value to pass up.

Jeff Caldwell | WR | KC

💤 Sleeper: Jeff Caldwell is built like a brick shithouse and runs like the wind, so his suppressed value as an undrafted free agent makes him the perfect dynasty sleeper.

What Jeff Caldwell has as a receiver simply cannot be taught: 6’5” 216 lb frame, with a 4.31 40-yard dash and 99th-100th-percentile catch radius and burst. Caldwell was late to football after a life of fútbol, but years at a smaller FCS college led him to his final collegiate season at Cincinnati. The tall, athletic, bursty receiver is not always the sure thing for fantasy football, as the technical aspects of the position cannot be overstated. But Caldwell has a legitimate reason for having a more raw skill set, as a late convert to football. Undrafted rookies have an uphill climb with less financial investment than drafted players, but Caldwell has a real opportunity to stick on a Chiefs roster that briefly maximized the production of a player like Tyquan Thornton. An undrafted receiver who is taller and faster than most is a dynasty sleeper worth adding to your rosters.

• This is a strong belief in Chase Brown, and I’m simply too high on every one of Caldwell-Washington-Brooks to pass this up.

• James Cook is the best player in this trade, but the value of K.C. Concepcion and Luther Burden is just too much to pass up and allows for resale value if need be.

Ladd McConkey | WR | LAC

📈 Bullish: It’s easy to be bullish on Ladd McConkey in dynasty right now, with the down year hiding a WR-1 ceiling under a new scheme that is built to unlock him.

Ladd McConkey is who I’m bullish on in dynasty right now, and the window to get him at a slight discount is closing fast. McConkey had a slight down year in 2025, going from a middling WR-2 in his rookie year to a back-end WR-3 in his sophomore season. Both seasons yielded just over 100 targets for McConkey and a similar number of touchdowns. However, the catchable target rate (79.5% v. 66.4%) and yards per route run (2.56 v. 1.47) saw a notable dip. This was in part due to injuries to the Chargers’ offensive line, Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, leaving Justin Herbert to run for his life. Further, Herbert leaned heavily on his veteran safety valve, Keenan Allen, who is, as of this article, still a free agent.

For 2026, Slater and Alt are on the mend, and the Chargers bolstered the line via free agency (Tyler Biadasz and Cole Strange) and the draft (Jake Slaughter and more). Easily the biggest reason for optimism in McConkey in 2026 is the addition of Mike McDaniel as the offensive coordinator. The head coaching stint in Miami did not go as hoped, but there is no doubt McDaniel knows how to get his playmakers the ball in space and churn out yardage. Getting McConkey free releases out of the slot and the flanker position will give him catch-and-go opportunities, especially across the middle. Players’ progression is not always linear, and I expect that McConkey can improve from his rookie season, where he was knocking on the door of a top-12 fantasy season. For this reason, this may be the last chance to acquire him in dynasty before it becomes a reality.

• McConkey is flat-out better than anything that could reasonably fall to the 1.07 in a draft devoid of depth.

Ladd McConkey ←→ Michael Wilson + ‘27 2nd + ‘28 5th

• Wilson went on an absolute tear with Jacoby Brissett in 2025, but who are we kidding? McConkey is entering season one with Mike McDaniel calling plays.

• Sean Payton paid an arm and a leg to acquire Waddle, so this and a ‘27 1st is too much fantasy production and draft capital to turn down.

• This is essentially McConkey for London, and I cannot muster enough optimism to have McConkey ranked ahead of London.

Jadarian Price | RB | SEA

📉 Bearish: Jadarian Price is priced as a dynasty RB-2, but the profile reads like a committee back who lacks breakaway speed and has the red zone ball security issues that pushed Seattle to sign Emanuel Wilson.

Jadarian Price is my bearish candidate in dynasty, and I think there could be a correction once we get closer to Week 1. The Seahawks spent the 32nd overall pick on him, and Kenneth Walker is now in Kansas City. Does this mean he is the backfield leader by the end of 2026? I don’t think so. Per my overview of the top-3 RBs in this rookie class, I note Price’s one-cut ability, but as a smaller back without elite speed, I just don't see it. Last season, Walker still split duties with Zach Charbonnet, but what gave the former fantasy value was his home run play ability since the latter handled a significant share of the red zone touches. Without that big-play speed, Price is slated to be a committee back who is not the first red zone option, considering some ball security issues in college.

Charbonnet is working his way back from a torn ACL in January of this year, which gave Walker the runway to get the bag in Kansas City. Reports indicate that Charbonnet could return in October of the 2026 season, and I am sure he will take some time to return to full form. That would be good for Price; however, the Seahawks made a point of signing Emanuel Wilson in free agency, away from the Packers. Wilson filled in admirably behind Josh Jacobs, and he offers a downhill rushing presence that fits well into a red zone role. If Wilson does end up handling most of the red zone rushes, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba and A.J. Barner garner most of the red zone targets, there is not much left for Price. Sell the rookie optimism while you can, as this running back profile should be outside of the top-24.

Jadarian Price ←→ Romeo Doubs + Jaylen Warren

• Doubs and Warren enter new offenses, and I would be hard-pressed to think they will have career years; at least Price has potential fantasy upside, given his 1st-round draft capital.

• I think Jeanty bounces back this season, but a startable running back and two 1st round picks in what should be a strong draft is too much to pass up.

• Price had the benefit of joining a weak running back class, so the optimism around the 2027 rookie class has me sending away Price here.

Jadarian Price + ‘27 3rd ←→ Rome Odunze

• I expect Odunze to be the target leader in Chicago following DJ Moore's departure. As Price could lose touches to a healthy Charbonnet, I see Odunze with a stable role, even with the emergence of Luther Burden and Colston Loveland.

Jonah Coleman | RB | DEN

💤 Sleeper: Jonah Coleman is my dynasty sleeper this week, with the 4th-round capital masking a clear path to early-down work in a top-tier offense as soon as 2027.

Jonah Coleman is my sleeper dynasty target right now, and he is one of my favorite running backs in the entire 2026 rookie class (RB-2 to be specific). His contact balance is second to none, with his short, powerful frame. Coleman is, however, among a running back class that is not as highly regarded as prior classes. And the Broncos using a 4th-round pick to get him shows that teams found value elsewhere for the first two days of the draft. The pessimism ends there. Coleman joins a Broncos backfield that is in need of rushing depth. The Broncos got 12 total touchdowns out of 2nd-round selection R.J. Harvey, as he served as the pass-catching counterpart to J.K. Dobbins in 2025. Once Dobbins went down with a foot injury in Week 10, Harvey was tasked with a larger role.

Following the injury, the Broncos re-signed Dobbins this offseason, but it is essentially a one-year deal. Reading the tea leaves, the Broncos brought in Coleman as the heir apparent for early-down work if/when Dobbins is gone. And the Broncos, like many teams, do want a committee backfield, as they would not have used a 4th-round pick on Coleman if they felt Harvey could thrive in a bell-cow role. So a physical runner with wiggle, top-end contact balance, and ball security is exactly what Sean Payton and company are looking for. Go get him on your dynasty rosters as a player who could produce as early as this year, but has a clear future in the Denver backfield.

• Gadsden’s value took a hit this offseason, and the arrow is pointing in the right direction for Coleman.

Jonah Coleman + Eli Stowers ←→ Alec Pierce + ‘27 3rd + ‘27 4th

• After getting the bag, Pierce got surgery on his ankle, while Coleman and Stowers both offer immediate and long-term dynasty upside.

• I am not stubborn enough to think Coleman would be a 1st-round pick in ‘27, so I would roll the dice on next year’s class.

FEATURED STASH - A.J. BARNER | TE | SEA

A.J. Barner enters the 2026 season as the clear TE-1 for the Super Bowl champion Seahawks after nearly doubling his targets and fantasy points in 2025. Even after Barner’s rookie season, I had considered him a “Buy” heading into 2025, and he did not disappoint. Barner’s sophomore leap came as the increase in targets included those all too valuable red zone opportunities. In 2025, Barner had the second-most red zone targets (behind only Jaxon Smith-Njigba) and turned 15 targets into 5 touchdowns. Barner even got three red zone carries, converting one for a score!

There are no new hands to feed targets in Seattle heading into the 2026 season, which speaks to the team’s confidence in Barner and company. This makes the case for Barner to continue his connection with Sam Darnold. The obvious counter to Barner’s fantasy success would be that the second-year Elijah Arroyo could eat into Barner’s targets. The Seahawks spent meaningful draft capital (2nd round) on Arroyo, and his athleticism is apparent. Even healthy for most of the season, Arroyo never ended up taking away a meaningful amount of targets from Barner. And the two tight ends frequently share the field, as the Seahawks are among the league leaders in 12 personnel. There is minimal risk here. See if you can trade a 3rd round rookie pick for Barner. I would bet on Barner’s fantasy viability over the hit rate of a 3rd round rookie pick.

MARSHAWN LLOYD | RB | GB

Since being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Lloyd has played in one game and touched the ball seven times. A recurring injury for Lloyd has been to the hamstring in both the 2024 and 2025 preseasons, but add in an ankle injury and even appendicitis in 2024. Per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, it sounds like Lloyd has taken his offseason very seriously, working with Dr. John Meyer to get himself healthy for the 2026 season and beyond. The former backup in Green Bay, Emanuel Wilson, is now in Seattle, leaving Lloyd and veteran Chris Brooks as depth behind Josh Jacobs. Lloyd offers a home-run threat that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the Packers’ backfield, so he’s worth the bench stash. Worst case, you can drop him for another backup running back.

JAYLIN NOEL | WR | HOU

Houston took Noel in the 2025 draft, just one round after his Iowa State teammate, Jayden Higgins. With Tank Dell down with a serious injury, the Texans traded a Day 3 pick for Christian Kirk and drafted Noel. Kirk is now in San Francisco, which provides a valuable opportunity for Noel in an offense in need of receiving support behind Nico Collins as Dell ramps up offseason activities. Noel is also Houston’s primary returner, which keeps him on the field in the meantime. He should not cost much, even in shallower dynasty leagues, and there is real upside to Noel as opposed to the 4th round pick you would send away to acquire him.

GREG DULCICH | TE | MIA

If you were to tell me Dulcich was 30 years old, I would believe you. Instead, it was only 2022 when we in the dynasty community experienced Dulcich’s rookie season in Denver. But what was a promising rookie season has since been derailed by numerous hamstring injuries and playing for what is now his third team, the Dolphins. We could, however, be in store for Dulcich to return to his rookie-season form. Miami re-signed him on a one-year, $3.25M deal that’s mostly guaranteed and drafted blockers and depth at the tight end position. Per Omar Kelly, Dulcich has been one of the top performers in OTAs. Dulcich is the projected Week 1 starter for a Malik Willis-led offense that desperately needs a possession outlet. Considering tight end is one of the most streamable positions in fantasy football, Dulcich is worth a late-round dynasty pick to capture some spike weeks.

JALEN NAILOR | WR | LV

Nailor was a 6th-round pick by the Vikings all the way back in 2022, and it wasn’t until 2024 that he started getting consistent playing time. Over the past two seasons, Nailor has turned 96 targets into 858 yards and 10 touchdowns as the Vikings’ WR-3. Nailor parlayed those productive seasons into a 3-year, $35M deal with the Raiders, who are now under a new coaching regime led by Klint Kubiak. Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty are undoubtedly the leading offensive weapons in the Las Vegas offense, but nothing is certain after that. Tre Tucker is Nailor’s biggest competition in the wide receiver room, with the upside of 2nd-year players Jack Bech and Dont’e Thornton Jr. still uncertain. Kirk Cousins is expected to start the season, and Fernando Mendoza may be handed the keys, but Nailor has a real opportunity for a career year. Just like the rest of this list, Nailor should not cost you much to acquire in dynasty, so bet on him to hit like a hard 8 on the blackjack tables of Vegas.

Cam Skattebo | RB | NYG

📈 Bullish: A gruesome injury in Week 8 cut Skattebo’s promising rookie season short, but he is set to be back to his headbutting ways by Week 1 this year.

Cam Skattebo joined the Giants as a 4th-round selection after an electric collegiate career and a lackluster NFL Combine performance. It did not take long for Skattebo to emerge as the RB-1 of the Giants’ backfield, finishing as the RB-5 in fantasy for Week 3. While Skattebo is a short, thumping back, he offers a real pass-catching skill set. Most importantly, Skattebo is the Giants’ best red zone threat, as he converted 7 total touchdowns on 27 red zone opportunities.

I still haven’t mentioned anything about the team and coaching staff around him that will also boost Skattebo’s fantasy value. Under head coach John Harbaugh, new offensive coordinator Matt Nagy will be able to maximize Skattebo’s versatility as a pass catcher alongside fellow bash brother Jaxson Dart. A healthier offensive line, now anchored by 1st-round pick Francis Mauigoa, only furthers the point.

➕ To BUY:

Cam Skattebo ←→ ‘26 1.06

• Skattebo would be the RB-2 in this class, and the 1.06 is after the main trio of receivers goes.

Cam Skattebo + Harold Fannin ←→ Colston Loveland + ‘27 4th

• This is no shade to Loveland; instead, it is a compliment to the upside of a healthy Skattebo, as well as the stability of Fannin, regardless of his quarterback.

➖ To SELL:

Cam Skattebo ←→ Travis Etienne + ‘27 2nd

• Etienne is not an old geezer and is in a position to produce in New Orleans, and the ‘27 2nd is what pushes this over the edge in what is anticipated to be a strong draft class.

Cam Skattebo + ‘27 1st + ‘27 2nd + ‘29 2nd ←→ Jahmyr Gibbs

• It will never be cheap to trade for a position player in the top-3 at their position, and this feels like a fair price to pay for Gibbs.

Bucky Irving | RB | TB

📉 Bearish: The 2024 version of Irving didn’t come to fruition in 2025, but will it happen in 2026 with a new offensive coordinator and a priority signing in Kenneth Gainwell? I’m not so sure.

Bucky Irving burst onto the scene in 2024 as a 4th round pick, boasting some impressive stats: 5th in yards created per touch, 3rd in juke rate, and six top-10 fantasy finishes. He did so, splitting touches with Rachaad White, which warranted optimism heading into the 2025 season. However, shoulder and foot injuries limited Irving to just 10 games in 2025. Irving has made it back on the field towards the tail end of OTAs, but one has to wonder what the backfield looks like in 2026.

The Bucs filled the Rachaad White-sized hole with Kenneth Gainwell on a 2-year, $14M deal following the latter’s career year in Pittsburgh. In 2025, Gainwell was 4th in yards created per touch, which is reflective of his dual-threat role. Another offseason wrinkle is that Irving will be learning his 3rd offense in 3 NFL seasons, with the Bucs offense led by Zac Robinson in 2026. I do not expect Irving to be phased out of the offense, but Gainwell is poised to take a frustrating amount of touches. Yes, even those all-too-valuable goal-line touches (yes, Sean Tucker is still on the roster, too). We all want Irving to pick up where he left off, but the Buccaneers paid Gainwell, so their season is not dependent on his resurgence.

➕ To BUY:

Bucky Irving ←→ Marvin Harrison Jr.

• I am not always a fan of 1-for-1 trades, but across different positions makes sense. Harrison has been dealing with the shadow of his dad, but his production still has not matched what many expected.

Bucky Irving ←→ Romeo Doubs + ‘27 2nd

• I think this is undervaluing Irving, with A.J. Brown watering down Doubs’ value in New England.

➖ To SELL:

Bucky Irving ←→ Ladd McConkey

• Another 1-for-1 trade. And McConkey should thrive in the Mike McDaniel offense.

• I know age is a factor in dynasty, but I’m firmly on the Brown side of this one. My confidence in Brown for the next year or two outweighs the uncertainty surrounding Irving.

Jonathon Brooks | RB | CAR

💤 Sleeper: Brooks was the first running back taken in the 2024 draft and proceeded to tear the same knee’s ACL twice in 13 months. The talent is still there, and so is the opportunity.

The Panthers used their 2nd round pick in 2024 on Jonathon Brooks, making him the first running back taken that year. Brooks was rehabbing a college ACL tear, but that didn’t stunt the Panthers’ belief in the Texas Longhorn as a three-down back. As fate would have it, Brooks tore the same ACL three games into his rookie year, missed all of 2025, and with it, his dynasty value continued to plummet. The Panthers let 1,000-yard rusher Rico Dowdle walk to Pittsburgh in free agency and added only AJ Dillon as veteran depth, which is a vote of confidence for Brooks and Chuba Hubbard.

Reports out of OTAs and mandatory minicamp have been glowing, while Brooks said he “feels close to 100 percent.” Hubbard is still the 1A heading into camp, but a down year in 2025, leading to Dowdle getting more work, suggests the 1B role for Brooks is meaningful. There is reason for concern with a running back bouncing back from multiple knee injuries to the same knee. But Brooks is still very young, and I am old enough to remember a former Panther who bounced back from three knee injuries to have a successful career (Thomas Davis). The dynasty community has been warming up to a resurgence for Brooks, but there is still value to be had for the first running back taken in the 2024 draft.

Jonathon Brooks ←→ Tory Horton + ‘27 4th

• I like Horton, and he should elevate his role in year 2, but Brooks’ upside is simply higher.

Jonathon Brooks ←→ ‘26 2.05

• The 2026 draft takes a dip towards the end of the 1st round, and Brooks is worth the 2nd rounder here.

➖ To SELL:

Jonathon Brooks + Bhayshul Tuten + ‘26 2.04 ←→ James Cook

• No offense to Brooks and Tuten, but Cook is a step above and is tied to a top offense and quarterback.

Jonathon Brooks + Oronde Gadsden + Matthew Golden + ‘27 3rd ←→ Harold Fannin + ‘27 2nd

• There is a lot here, but I continue to be out on Golden, and acknowledge Gadsden’s value has taken a hit. Fannin is among the next generation of top tight ends, and this is good value.

A.J. Brown | WR | NE

📈 Bullish: Brown is the unquestioned WR-1 paired with an ascending passer on a team that will need to put up points with a tougher schedule.

The A.J. Brown trade was a bit anticlimactic. The Patriots were always the front-runner, and because of the contract, it was understood that the trade would happen sometime after June 1st. This is a huge upgrade for Drake Maye, who goes from an aging alpha in Stefon Diggs to an, at worst, still-in-his-prime A.J. Brown. Brown has cleared 2.00 YPRR in every season since joining the Eagles in 2022, including two seasons above 3.00 YPRR. The Patriots haven’t led the league in pass attempts with Drake Maye, but in 2025, he had the most yards per attempt and third-most passing touchdowns (among QB’s with > 250 plays). Brown could comfortably maintain his 27-30% target share with upside for more, easily eclipsing Diggs’ 2025 numbers.

➕ To BUY:

A.J. Brown ←→ Jonah Coleman + ‘27 2nd

• Getting Brown for essentially the ‘26 2.01 and a ‘27 2nd is a no-brainer.

A.J. Brown ←→ Michael Pittman + Davante Adams + Rico Dowdle

• Savvy move to get the last bit of value out of Adams and the depth value of Pittman and Dowdle.

• This is someone who is REALLY high on A.J. Brown.

DeVonta Smith | WR | PHI

📉 Bearish: Smith is slated to be the WR-1 in Philadelphia, but a change in the types of receivers in the room and a new play-caller could cap his ceiling.

My pessimism for DeVonta Smith is not that I think he will do worse than his historical fantasy production, but that I do not think a leap forward is incoming. The 2020 Heisman-winner finally gets his chance to be the WR-1 on the Eagles after getting a contract extension that keeps him in Philadelphia through the 2028 season. The Eagles ranked in the bottom third of the league in pass attempts in 2025. Their offseason additions (Makai Lemon, Eli Stowers, Dontayvion Wicks, and Hollywood Brown) point towards a change in the offense and not a significant target increase for Smith. To boost his fantasy production, Smith would need a healthy increase in targets and/or a better chance to create more yards. The latter is his most realistic path to increasing fantasy production, but his YPRR has historically been around or below 2.00, which does not give me confidence. Add in first-time playcaller Sean Mannion, and the uncertainty compounds. He will still produce, just not like his rise in value would suggest.

➕ To BUY:

DeVonta Smith ←→ ‘26 1.08 + ‘26 2.04

• Depressed value for ‘26 picks beyond the middle of the first round makes this a great move.

DeVonta Smith ←→ ‘26 1.10 + Jonathan Brooks

• This one is closer as I’m high on a Brooks bounceback, but the certainty of Smith is the move here.

➖ To SELL:

DeVonta Smith + ‘26 1.07 ←→ Drake London

• The last of the playmakers left in Miami, Achane, is truly a difference-maker.

Christian Watson | WR | GB

💤 Sleeper: After the offseason churn of the receiver room, Watson gets the big contract extension as the Packers’ WR-1.

In the words of the great Bill Parcells, “the best ability is availability.” This has been the main drawback for Christian Watson’s fantasy upside, missing nearly 30% of his career games. But after a torn ACL in January 2025, Watson came back better than ever that same year, finishing the season with a career-high 13.2 fantasy points per game. This is Watson’s floor, as it includes his ramp up from his injury. The Packers used this offseason to set their priorities: not re-signing Romeo Doubs, trading away Dontayvion Wicks, and re-signing both Jayden Reed and Christian Watson. The biggest threat to Watson’s targets is Tucker Kraft, who is working his way back from a torn ACL from November of last season. There is room in this offense for Kraft to have his share and Watson to remain the clear-cut first option. Players are often labeled as “injury-prone”, but I do not subscribe to that notion. The Packers invested in Watson as their WR-1, and his skill set is that of a downfield threat who has top-end speed and athleticism to turn any target into a touchdown. Go trade for Watson and, in the words of Champ Kind, “WHAMMY!”

• I am not a Henderson truther, so getting Watson and a startable back in Tuten is a good move.

• The injury situation is murky for Nabers, but this is the time to buy low on a player of his caliber.

Rome Odunze | WR | CHI

There is no shortage of hype for the Bears’ offense, with Ben Johnson entering his second season at the helm. Even Caleb Williams is kind of a big deal, earning himself the Madden cover. And with D.J. Moore gone and no notable pass-catchers added in the offseason, Rome Odunze is poised for a big year three. In 2025, Odunze was on a steady pace and ultimately led the Bears in targets; however, he missed five games with a foot injury. While many are focusing their fantasy optimism on Luther Burden and Colston Loveland, I am looking for Odunze to lead the Bears in targets and earn valuable deep balls and red zone targets.

Sophomore slump is spelled “BTJ”. And for anyone who bought high after a huge rookie season, you were left saying, “I’ve made a huge mistake”. Unfortunately, the optimism surrounding the addition of offensive mastermind Liam Coen did not rub off on Brian Thomas. An 11% drop rate (per PlayerProfiler) and a precipitous fall in touchdowns led to Thomas’ fantasy points being nearly cut in half. It also appears the new coaching staff is focused on the rest of the receiver room, trading for and extending Jakobi Meyers and boosting Parker Washington’s role. Thomas still has a ceiling that may or may not be achieved in Jacksonville, but I would prefer to sell at this point.

Kenneth Gainwell put up career numbers in 2025, both on the ground and through the air. Gainwell parlayed that strong season into a notable two-year deal with the Buccaneers, who just let Rachaad White walk. There is reason for optimism for Gainwell in Tampa Bay, considering he would boast meaningful fantasy value as a complement to Bucky Irving. But considering how the offseason has gone for Irving, Gainwell may be needed to step into a larger role starting Week 1. There are plenty of bigger names at the RB position for fantasy, but Gainwell has a clear path to relevancy on a strong offense.

PICK #33 - De’Zhaun Stribling (WR) - SF

Dynasty Reaction: Stribling was not the first receiver I expected to come off the board on Day 2, but the 49ers got their guy. This guy is big, fast, and a willing blocker, so he will be comfortable in San Francisco. For fantasy, it is anyone’s guess if it’ll amount to meaningful production.

Rookie Draft Round: 2nd Round

PICK #39 - Denzel Boston (WR) - CLE

Dynasty Reaction: A “my guy” in this draft, Boston lands on a roster in desperate need of offensive weapons. Boston is, however, drafted after K.C. Concepcion, and presumably with Shedeur Sanders under center, I am not optimistic. But with the mindset of picking talent, not situation, I am still betting on Boston for the right price.

PICK #47 - Germie Bernard (WR) - PIT

Dynasty Reaction: With the twin towers of D.K. Metcalf and Michael Pittman, the Steelers were in need of a player to do the dirty work in the middle of the field. Bernard is a savvy player who can line up anywhere and find gaps in zone coverage.

Rookie Draft Round: 2nd Round

PICK #54 - Eli Stowers (TE) - PHI

Dynasty Reaction: The Eagles nabbed Makai Lemon in the first round, but added another pass-catcher in Stowers on Day 2. A.J. Brown is all but gone, and Stowers represents the receiving tight end alongside Dallas Goedert in 12 personnel. This is an intriguing landing spot that is worth monitoring.

PICK #56 - Nate Boerkircher (TE) - JAX

Dynasty Reaction: Boerkircher is an inline blocking tight end who will free up receiving opportunities for Brenton Strange. I do not expect sustained fantasy value for Boerkircher, but touchdowns are always a possibility for these types of tight ends in the red zone.

PICK #59 - Marlin Klein (TE) - HOU

Dynasty Reaction: Klein joins the Texans as a complementary tight end who contributes both as a blocker and as a pass-catcher. Both skill sets need some polish, but there are athletic traits to lean on at a position that values them.

PICK #61 - Max Klare (TE) - LAR

Dynasty Reaction: Here is a name I am more familiar with… but another tight end to the Rams? Two of their five tight ends are free agents after the 2026 season, so I guess this is just getting ahead of that. So he is more of a stash on a top-tier offense.

PICK #65 - Carson Beck (QB) - ARI

Dynasty Reaction: This is not necessarily a strong quarterback class, but Beck joins a Cardinals team in need of a long-term option. Is it Beck? I lean towards no. But with some intriguing offensive weapons and Jacoby Brissett seeking a new contract, there could be something to Beck in Arizona.

PICK #69 - Sam Roush (TE) - CHI

Dynasty Reaction: Here is a “my guy”, but unfortunately, he lands on a roster that has two established tight ends and additional playmakers. For Roush, his reason for being on the field is his blocking, but that will give him a chance to flash his athleticism once the ball is in his hands.

PICK #71 - Antonio Williams (WR) - WAS

Dynasty Reaction: After going defense with their first pick, the Commanders used their second pick to help Jayden Daniels. Williams should push for starting slot duties in what is a relatively shallow receiver room in Washington, and serve as a shifty, sure-handed option in the short-intermediate areas.

PICK #73 - Oscar Delp (TE) - NOLA

Dynasty Reaction: The offense is coming together for the Saints, with Delp joining a tight end room behind veterans Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant. Delp offers an athletic profile that is best served as a move tight end.

PICK #74 - Malachi Fields (WR) - NYG

Dynasty Reaction: Fields is not going to win with separation or speed; instead, he does so as a big-bodied receiver who uses physicality and strong hands. The Giants do need more pass-catchers, but I am not too sure that Fields is a fantasy-friendly option.

Rookie Draft Round: 3rd Round

PICK #75 - Caleb Douglas (WR) - MIA

Dynasty Reaction: How Douglas was taken by Miami before Chris Bell is a headscratcher. But Douglas serves as the long and fast deep ball and red zone threat for the Dolphins. Even in a shallow receiver room, I do not expect much from Douglas from a fantasy standpoint.

PICK #76 - Drew Allar (QB) - PIT

Dynasty Reaction: Allar's going back to school did him no favors, but he lands on a roster with no clear-cut starter. I am a Will Howard believer and assume he will get the first shot at the starting gig, independent of an Aaron Rodgers signing. Allar has the tools of a starter, but there is plenty of room for development.

Rookie Draft Round: 2nd-3rd Round

PICK #79 - Zachariah Branch (WR) - ATL

Dynasty Reaction: Speed and toughness are where Branch hangs his hat. And this Falcon’s receiver room is in need of some additional depth. Branch could find himself limited to gadget plays and return duties early on, but that is a great way to grow his role as a receiver.

Rookie Draft Round: 2nd-3rd Round

PICK #80 - Ja’Kobi Lane (WR) - BAL

Dynasty Reaction: Put Lane out on the boundary and let him cook. Lane is fast and has the long frame to win more often than not in one-on-one situations and in the red zone. This skill set is appealing when he is scoring touchdowns, but his volume may be capped early on, limiting his fantasy value.

Rookie Draft Round: 2nd-3rd Round

PICK #83 - Chris Brazzell II (WR) - CAR

Dynasty Reaction: The Panthers are filling a glaring need here in a speedy, deep-ball threat that can take attention away from Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker. The Xavier Legette experiment was not fruitful, and this is getting good value for Brazzell.

PICK #84 - Ted Hurst (WR) - TB

Dynasty Reaction: Hurst is a big, fast, athletic receiver who has the type of tools to develop into a strong starter. The athletic traits do not equal success, but there is reason for optimism with Hurst’s frame and work downfield. Even with the departure of Mike Evans, there is no shortage of receivers in Tampa Bay.

PICK #87 - Will Kacmarek (TE) - MIA

Dynasty Reaction: Kacmarek is an inline blocking tight end who will do the dirty work in the run game. I do not expect sustained fantasy value for Kacmarek, but touchdowns are always a possibility for these types of tight ends in the red zone.

PICK #89 - Zavion Thomas (WR) - CHI

Dynasty Reaction: Thomas was not on my radar for fantasy, and certainly not this early in the NFL Draft. His profile is that of a returner who can offer upside with gadget plays given his tough, compact frame.

PICK #90 - Kaelon Black (RB) - SF

Dynasty Reaction: Black is a compact, decisive runner who finished his collegiate career with a bang as a member of the National-Champion Indiana Hoosiers. I did not expect him to be the third running back taken, but he offers upside as a runner and, most importantly, as a pass-protector. And as we have learned, if you are a running back in San Francisco, you could have your number called at any moment.

Rookie Draft Round: 3rd Round

PICK #94 - Chris Bell (WR) - MIA

Dynasty Reaction: Bell’s profile is just too much fun to ignore, but this is also one that can leave dynasty managers thinking, “what if?” Due to a torn ACL in November, Bell is still working his way back. But for a Dolphins offense starved for playmakers, Bell is a player who has a real opportunity to shine.

Rookie Draft Round: 2nd Round

PICK #95 - Eli Raridon (TE) - NE

Dynasty Reaction: Raridon joins the Patriots as an intriguing option alongside Hunter Henry. While Henry can do a bit of everything, Raridon thrives getting vertical, which is a need for this New England offense. Multiple knee injuries are a concern, but at this point, we are just throwing darts.

PICK #1 - Fernando Mendoza (QB) - LV

Dynasty Reaction: No surprise here, Mendoza joins a Raiders team that has a new coach and is hopefully headed in the right direction. Kirk Cousins was brought in to, presumably, start day one, but Mendoza is well-positioned to step in at the right time and become the Raiders’ franchise quarterback.

Rookie Draft Round: Early 1st

PICK #3 - Jeremiyah Love (RB) - ARI

Dynasty Reaction: Superflex or not, Love has been the prize for dynasty managers all offseason. A bit of a surprise for the Cardinals to take Love, considering their many other needs, but he is a player who demands touches and has big-play ability.

Rookie Draft Round: 1.01

PICK #4 - Carnell Tate (WR) - TEN

Dynasty Reaction: The Titans continue to surround their second-year quarterback Cam Ward with support, and Tate does just that. Touted by many as the WR-1 of this class, Tate becomes the number one target-getter in Tennessee as the Titans look to right the ship under Robert Saleh’s leadership.

Rookie Draft Round: Early 1st

PICK #8 - Jordyn Tyson (WR) - NOLA

Dynasty Reaction: My WR-1 in this class, Tyson, joins Chris Olave as support for second-year signal caller Tyler Shough. The Saints’ offense was a surprise in 2025, and adding Tyson is a huge boost for a team still digging out of salary cap hell.

Rookie Draft Round: Early 1st

PICK #13 - Ty Simpson (QB) - LAR

Dynasty Reaction: Well, this one had me take a step back. It is not a surprise that the Rams are considering life after Matthew Stafford, but with questions about whether Simpson would be a first-round pick, the Rams said, “Yup, we’ll do it at 13.” The limited sample size highlights the importance of Simpson being able to sit behind Stafford, and it sounds like this is NOT in any way an effort to push Stafford to retire.

PICK #16 - Kenyon Sadiq (TE) - NYJ

Dynasty Reaction: This is the range I expected Sadiq to go, but this was definitely not the team. The Jets added a defender with their first pick and added a pass-catcher here, but not a receiver alongside Garrett Wilson.

Rookie Draft Round: Mid-Late 1st

PICK #20 - Makai Lemon (WR) - PHI

Dynasty Reaction: While not my thoughts, some consider Lemon to be the WR-1 in this class, and he lands in Philly, where A.J. Brown is almost certainly going to be leaving after June 1st. With Devonta Smith holding down the outside, Lemon has the chance to continue his slot-work and be a trusted target for Jalen Hurts.

Rookie Draft Round: Mid 1st

PICK #24 - KC Concepcion (WR) - CLE

Dynasty Reaction: The enigmatic Concepcion finds an NFL home in Cleveland, where they need receivers, with Jerry Jeudy and Harold Fannin as the primary pass-catchers. Concepcion steps in as their most dynamic player. The Browns need to sort out the quarterback, but Concepcion is a great weapon for whoever is under center.

Rookie Draft Round: Mid-Late 1st

PICK #30 - Omar Cooper Jr. (WR) - NYJ

Dynasty Reaction: The Jets circled back and got their receiver! Cooper was widely mocked to the Jets, but falling to pick 30 was a bit of a surprise. The Jets get an electric complement alongside Garrett Wilson, as Cooper had a strong final collegiate season playing for the National Champion Indiana Hoosiers.

Rookie Draft Round: Late 1st-Early 2nd

PICK #32 - Jadarian Price (RB) - SEA

Dynasty Reaction: The second running back off the board is Jeremiyah Love’s backfield mate in Price. There is no doubt the Seahawks would look to add to the running back room following the exit of Kenneth Walker and the recovery of Zach Charbonnet. I do have Jonah Coleman ahead of Price, but there is plenty of reason to be excited about Price in the reigning Super Bowl champions.

KENYON SADIQ | TE-1️⃣

Sadiq is undoubtedly the TE-1 in this class. The NFL Combine highlighted Sadiq’s historic athleticism at a position that highly values it. Despite being shorter and a bit lighter than the “ideal” tight end prospect, Sadiq has a strong, compact frame. That athletic frame creates mismatches against slower defenders and helps to create YAC. Athleticism is king with the tight end position; however, Sadiq’s hands are inconsistent, leading to the occasional drop. In a class that is lacking a true “generational” tight end, Sadiq is an intriguing option and is likely to be the first one drafted at some point in the first round.

Relatively new to the position, Stowers converted to tight end after entering college as a quarterback. Among the undersized tight ends, Stowers is one of the leanest, but he is also one of the most athletic, second only to Kenyon Sadiq. While the frame is more of a big slot, Stowers has tremendous speed and ball skills that would be any quarterback’s dream. What stands out in Stower’s play is his catch radius and ball skills, which will serve him well, as his blocking will not be where he hangs his hat. The primary knock would be with being undersized; Stowers could be sharing snaps with a more inline tight end, but could also pair with one in 12 personnel.

After Kenyon Sadiq and Eli Stowers is a mixed bag of tight ends, and I am hitching my wagon to Sam Roush. While we have grown accustomed to the tight ends that immediately produce for fantasy, Roush is one who may take some time to marinade. Roush is built like a brick shithouse and has a rugby background that aligns with his YAC ability. The production for Roush was so-so throughout his collegiate career, but there was year-over-year improvement. And as athleticism is highly valued at the tight end position, the NFL Combine highlighted the athleticism that showed up on the field. Roush can earn his stripes as a blocker day one in the NFL, but I believe in his growth as a receiver, where he can be a safety valve for a quarterback and generate YAC.

JORDYN TYSON | WR-1️⃣

Tyson fits the bill as the most talented receiver in the class. He creates immediate separation with crafty releases and snappy route running. Regardless of the space he creates, Tyson is able to track the deep ball and use his physicality to win contested catches. And while he is not the twitchiest player, Tyson is more than capable of churning out yards after the catch. It is not lost on me that Tyson has dealt with multiple injuries throughout his collegiate career, but his talent is undeniable, and I am willing to bet on it. And as a Panthers fan, I believe that anyone can be the next Thomas Davis and recover from multiple knee injuries.

This skill set can do well as a team’s WR-1 or immediately step in as one of the NFL’s best WR-2’s. Tate does not win with acceleration off the line or long-speed, but he is smooth in and out of routes and knows how to navigate zone coverage well. With much discrepancy among the top receivers in the 2026 rookie class, Tate feels like a safe top-3 option.

Boston checks a few of the boxes that make him a “My Guy” for me in the 2026 rookie class, which includes an X-receiver frame and versatility to line up all over the offense. Despite being a bigger receiver, Boston is a smooth operator and can do damage both in the intermediate and deep phases of the field. Hell, even on catch-and-run opportunities, Boston’s ability after the catch is impressive for a receiver his size. I can see Boston being relegated to X-receiver duties at the NFL level, which could reduce his target share and fantasy upside. However, Boston’s collegiate career paints the picture of a receiver who is capable of working all over the field and leading a receiver room.

JEREMIYAH LOVE | RB-1️⃣

Love is the clear-cut 1.01 in any dynasty rookie draft, and it is no mystery why. The nearly 3,500 total yards across his three years at Notre Dame highlight Love’s versatility. Love has the speed to bounce outside, enough power to take on contact between the tackles, and the natural hands to be more than just a dump-off option for his next quarterback. There is no offense that Love couldn’t elevate, with a three-down skillset, so for fantasy, there are no big concerns.

A knee injury ate into his touches in 2025, but there was still enough to warrant Coleman leading an NFL backfield. At worst, Coleman can be the early down and red zone back, which offers plenty of fantasy upside.

My concern is that, as a leaner back without great start-stop ability, he could be susceptible to getting bottled up when the one-cut is not the right one. But there is certainly enough there for Price to earn a flex-worthy role in an NFL backfield.

QUARTERBACKS

No top-end moves to speak of, but five teams likely filled their starting quarterback spot for 2026 in the Colts (Daniel Jones), Jets (Geno Smith), the Vikings (Kyler Murray), the Dolphins (Malik Willis), and the Falcons (Tua Tagovailoa). Danny Dimes was already staying in Indianapolis under the tag, but this secures his roster spot for the next two years. Geno reunited with the team that drafted him was not on my bingo card, but I do like the fit. Kyler to the Vikings was the worst-kept secret as another quarterback revitalizes his career in Minnesota. Willis just made sense with the Green Bay connection, and despite a small sample size, I think he could very well be the next reclamation story at quarterback. Tua to Atlanta is another one that just makes sense, with Michael Penix recovering from injury and new head coach Kevin Stefanski needing a quarterback to feed his many playmakers.

RUNNING BACKS

There were only so many running backs to serve as clear-cut starters at their next stop. Walker is joining the Chiefs’ backfield after years of fantasy managers waiting for Kansas City to finally get a top-end running back. Isiah Pacheco was no slouch early in his career, but lingering injuries may have dampened his production in 2025. Etienne was a surprise signing, getting big money to go to the Saints despite Alvin Kamara still on the roster. Kamara may still be dealt, but if he remains on the team, then he could revert to a third-down role where he can showcase his calling card, his pass-catching chops.

The rest of this list is the spot starters, backups, and role players. A few players return to familiar cities: Aaron Jones (MIN), Jaleel McLaughlin (DEN), J.K. Dobbins (DEN), and Kene Nwangwu (NYJ). The most exciting landing spots to me are Chris Rodriguez (JAX), Emanuel Wilson (SEA), Kenneth Gainwell (TB), Rachaad White (WAS), and Tyler Allgeier (ARI). Rodriguez serves as the power element in Jacksonville and reunites with his former college coach, Liam Coen. Wilson offers a high-end backup option who can start while Zach Charbonnet recovers from a late-season knee injury. Gainwell is a great option to fill the White role in Tampa Bay, as depth was much needed in 2025 with Bucky Irving missing nearly half of the season. White should serve as the lead back, but at worst, he can secure the third-down role in Washington. Allgeier can step into the James Conner role as a powerful runner who can handle some pass-catching work. The remainder of the players are presumed backups, which, as any fantasy manager has learned, is valuable at the running back position. A few of the key free agent running backs still on the market include: Austin Ekeler, Brian Robinson, Joe Mixon, Kareem Hunt, and Najee Harris.

Well, Alec Pierce just got PAID! The Colts quickly moved on from Michael Pittman, but instead of releasing him, they were able to trade him to the Steelers. Pittman and new teammate D.K. Metcalf form a tall duo rivaling the Panthers pairing of Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess from back in the day. Jalen Nailor is an intriguing addition by the Raiders, as he did well with limited chances in Minnesota and could earn a larger role in Las Vegas. Mike Evans has finally decided to leave Tampa Bay and join a 49ers receiver room very much in need of his services. Rashid Shaheed returns to the Seahawks after he was acquired via trade last season as the team worked towards a Super Bowl victory. Romeo Doubs leaves the collection of ancillary receivers to potentially serve as Drake Maye’s number one option. Wan’Dale Robinson is one of many former Giants who have followed Brian Daboll to Tennessee.

Goedert’s free agent journey is still going, but Calcaterra has a chance for more opportunity in 2026. Here is a look at LAST year’s TE buys under 25.

The tight end position has long been thought to be a slow burn, with dynasty managers waiting a few seasons for players to get their footing. While that is still commonplace, wide-open NFL offenses are becoming more friendly to the pass-catching tight ends. And the tight ends mentioned in this article are ones to buy in dynasty before the price is too steep.

The youngest member of this list, Taylor, stepped into a chaotic Jets situation for his rookie season (Jets and chaos, who knew?). Taylor entered his rookie season as the starting tight end for the Jets and even put up three top-12 fantasy performances. Inconsistency at quarterback, coupled with a late-season neck injury, resulted in a so-so rookie season.

Entering the 2026 season, the Jets are a team with money to spend and needs to fill (everywhere). Two pass catchers that are set in stone are Garrett Wilson and Taylor, who should serve the next Jets quarterback well. The Jets’ new offensive coordinator, Frank Reich, could mean increased involvement for Taylor, especially in the red zone (per Michael Nania). Although he plays on the Jets, Taylor serves as an up-and-coming tight end in a time where there is a changing of the guard at the position.

Gunnar Helm (TE-37 — 5.7 ppg — 24 years old)

Helm entered his rookie season in Tennessee behind veteran Chig Okonkwo and with rookie Cam Ward at the… helm. The Titans’ season was one to forget, but Helm offered reason for optimism as a tight end who is a competent blocker while also being a threat as a receiver (the latter of which has hindered Okonkwo). Helm’s usage is also encouraging, as 8 of his 55 targets came in the red zone.

After a poor showing by the Titans as a whole, the team brought in a new head coach, Robert Saleh, who then added Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator. The move, along with spending money and draft capital, hopes to revamp the Titans’ offense in 2026. And barring a change of heart, it looks like the Titans are set to let Okonkwo test free agency. So while Helm was not drafted by the current coaching staff, he should serve the new offensive system well.

Darnell Washington (TE-43 — 4.6 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [31 catches / 43 targets - 364 yds - 1 TD]

Washington is a punishing blocker who helped level up the Steelers’ rushing attack in 2025. The veteran tight ends, Pat Freiermuth and Jonnu Smith, however, were ahead of him for receiving duties. Despite the block-heavy duties, Washington has seen his role as a pass-catcher grow year-over-year since his rookie season in 2023. And there is nothing more fun than watching Washington churn out yards and punish defenders who are foolish enough to get in his way.

Before you say it, yes, Washington will be 25 before the regular season, but he will be 24 for the preseason, and that helps for this article’s criteria. And what helps Washington is the Steelers’ releasing of Smith ahead of free agency, as well as the new head coach hiring a long-time tight ends coach, Brian Angelichio, as the team’s offensive coordinator. This is not a costly buy in dynasty, but Washington offers an intriguing chance to increase his value come Week 1.

Terrance Ferguson (TE-46 — 4.0 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [11 catches / 25 targets - 231 yds - 3 TD]

Ferguson’s involvement in the offense took some time to develop, but Ferguson utilized his high-end athleticism to serve as a downfield threat. There may have been some frustration from fantasy managers when an injury to Higbee led to increased involvement from Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen. But head coach Sean McVay has been steadfast in his praise for Ferguson’s athleticism and versatility as a playmaker.

Okay, so the Rams’ re-signing of Tyler Higbee (again) does not help Ferguson’s fantasy opportunities. But a full offseason for Ferguson allows him to become more immersed in the Rams’ offense. The Rams are no strangers to utilizing 12 and 13 Personnel, which would lead to Ferguson getting more opportunities in one of the NFL’s most high-powered offenses. Ferguson is no stranger to most dynasty managers, but if you can buy him at a reasonable price, then do it!

Ben Sinnott (TE-72 — 1.8 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [11 catches / 13 targets - 114 yds - 1 TD]

A returning name from last year’s list, Sinnott more than doubled his rookie-year fantasy production in 2025, even if it meant going from 0.8 pppg to 1.8 ppg. Optimism around Sinnott was tied to a Jayden Daniels-led offense and the possible decline of veteran Zach Ertz. Unfortunately, the Commanders’ offense was not quite as effective as in 2024, due in part to injuries keeping Daniels out for most of the season. Ertz tore his ACL in Week 14, which led to an increase in opportunity for Sinnott; however, to no avail.

A healthy Daniels, a free agent departure from Ertz, and a new offensive coordinator in David Blough point to reasons for Sinnott’s growth in 2026. Sinnott showcased his versatility during his time at Kansas State as a capable blocker and receiver, which Blough could unlock this season. With the last few years of tight end prospects breaking out early, dynasty managers could be fatigued from waiting for Sinnott and be willing to sell for cheap.

Here is a look at LAST year’s WR buys under 25.

Wide receivers tend to have a larger window where they are productive for fantasy. Just look at players like Mike Evans, Davante Adams, and Keenan Allen, who have remained productive into their 30’s. But in an ideal world, dynasty managers are acquiring receivers on their ascension and taking advantage of their peak dynasty value via fantasy production or trade. In this article, I highlight five receivers under 25 who are buys in dynasty.

Okay, so maybe Washington just missed the cut, but I’m bending the rules for this one. The former Nittany Lion experienced his best season in 2025, under a new regime led by first-time head coach Liam Coen. While Brian Thomas Jr. was going through a sophomore slump, Washington stepped up, and over the last half of the season, he posted four top-12 fantasy finishes.

On the cusp of free agency, there are trade rumors surrounding Thomas, which could open up target opportunities for Washington. Though even when Thomas returned from injury, Washington secured a target-rich role in the Jaguars’ offense. If you can’t tell, I am optimistic about Washington’s PPR upside heading into 2026!

Brian Thomas Jr. (WR-47 — 9.9 ppg — 23 years old)

Enough about Parker Washington, let’s talk about his teammate, Brian Thomas Jr. Thomas entered his second season after a top-12 fantasy rookie season, and it was rocky to say the least. A new offense resulted in fewer targets as Thomas missed some time due to injury and was among the top-5 in the NFL in drops.

Thomas has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason, as teams could try to recapture that rookie season magic. The price for Thomas in dynasty will change once free agency begins because teams will fill their receiver needs. So just like anyone else on this list, Thomas is a buy in dynasty at the right price. Even if he does not replicate his 2024 success, he would likely still serve as a startable receiver in fantasy for years to come.

Jordan Addison (WR 48 — 9.7 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [42 catches / 79 targets - 610 yards - 3 TDs] & [2 rushes - 81 yards - 1 TD]

2025 was a season to forget for the Vikings’ offense as a whole. It was, essentially, J.J. McCarthy’s rookie year, which was marred by inconsistency and injury. Addison was not immune to the offensive deficiency, as he posted career lows in multiple categories in his third season. The good news is that the issue was less with Addison underperforming, so there is reason for optimism.

Addison enters his fourth NFL season, and as a former first-round pick, I would expect the Vikings to pick up his fifth-year option. This gives Addison some runway to earn a bigger payday, as early offseason news indicates the Vikings are looking to upgrade the quarterback position. Regardless of who is under center in Minnesota, I expect an upgrade to what was a down year for the offense as a whole. This is a buy window for Addison, but it is quickly shrinking.

Luther Burden III (WR 57 — 8.5 ppg — 22 years old)

2025 Stats: [47 catches / 60 targets - 652 yards - 2 TDs] & [6 rushes - 37 yards]

The Bears’ offense took a huge step forward in 2025, and Burden was an important part. By the middle of the season, Burden’s snap share more than doubled, and he even peppered in one week as the NFL’s WR-1 (Week 17). Ahead of the offseason, there was reason for Burden optimism, but the youngest receiver on this list got a huge boost from a recent trade.

The Bears continue to generate returns from the infamous “Bryce Young Trade”, with the recent trade of D.J. Moore to the Bills. Chicago moving on from Moore is not a huge shock, considering his wavering involvement in 2025. But what it does is clear the way for all of the Bears’ pass-catchers to earn more targets. I expect Burden to pick up where he left off and to clean up his drops that were one of the few blemishes to a successful rookie season. I would not expect most dynasty managers to let go of Burden go for anything less than a haul, but it is worth a try!

I was a fan of Horton coming out of Colorado State, and he showed flashes in his rookie season. Unfortunately, Horton only played the first half following a leg injury. The offense flowed heavily through Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but Horton maintained a near a 50% snap share and earned valuable touches. Horton converted a mere 13 receptions into 5 touchdowns, and while touchdowns can vary, it is encouraging to see usage in scoring distances.

The Seahawks enter the 2026 season as reigning Super Bowl Champions and return most of their offensive weapons. A healthy Horton could serve as an exciting ancillary option to JSN, even with the return of Cooper Kupp. Horton, as a buy in dynasty, is still fueled by my initial impression of him coming out of college, but there was little to knock me off my opinion in 2025.

Here is a look at last year’s RB buys under 25.

Running backs have the shortest shelf life of the fantasy-relevant positions. Fantasy rosters are already sensitive to the fragility of the running back position, but it is amplified in dynasty, where an ageless wonder like Derrick Henry is a rarity. In this article, I highlight five running backs under 25 that could be on the rise in dynasty.

*Qualifying running backs are under 25 years old by the beginning of the 2026 NFL season and outside the Top-24 in RB fantasy points per game in 2025. Dynasty trades sources from Dynasty Daddy. Trades were based on the following settings:

• Tight End Premium: 0-0.5

• Team Count: 10-12 (Draft pick range noted below extends to 12-team leagues)

Kyle Monangai (RB-38 — 8.6 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [169 rushes - 783 yds - 5 TDs] - [18 catches / 30 targets - 164 yds - 0 TDs]

Monangai entered the Bears’ backfield as a 7th-round rookie and filled in well behind veteran D’Andre Swift. Despite only usurping a 50% snapshare twice during the season, Monangai had three top-12 fantasy finishes. Swift performed well; however, he is entering a contract year, and Monangai could step into a larger role.

The NFL’s legal tampering period begins tomorrow, so we will quickly find out what the Bears think about their backfield before the NFL Draft. Ben Johnson enters his second season after getting to the playoffs in his inaugural season as the Bears’ head coach. With the success Monangai brought in his rookie season, I would expect continuity with this budding offense.

Devin Neal (RB-54 — 6.7 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [57 rushes - 206 yds - 2 TDs] - [17 catches / 19 targets - 104 yds - 0 TDs]

Neal joined the Saints’ backfield as a 6th-round back behind superstar Alvin Kamara and the potential-filled Kendre Miller. I did not understand the level of Miller hype entering the league, but with Kamara getting older, there is reason to look for his successor. Unfortunately, Kamara’s season was marred by injury, and so was Miller’s, with the latter tearing his ACL. Neal did not really get snaps until halfway through the season, but he contributed both on the ground and through the air.

Heading into the 2026 season, Kamara restructured his contract, and Miller is entering a contract season. The Saints are still navigating the cap repercussions caused by years of kicking the can down the road, so Neal’s position in the backfield as a cheap option is secure. The Saints could finally be moving on from Kamara, but even if he remains, we saw in 2025 the necessity for productive backfield support.

Bhayshul Tuten (RB 59 — 5.9 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [83 rushes - 307 yds - 5 TDs] - [10 catches / 14 targets - 79 yds - 2 TDs]

Last offseason, there was much uncertainty as to who would lead the Jaguars’ backfield. Sure enough, Tank Bigsby gets traded to the Eagles, and Travis Etienne is the clear lead running back. Tuten missed a total of three games in his rookie season, but his role did turn into a consistent high-20, low-30% snapshare by the latter half of the season. Tuten’s home run speed kept him involved.

As Etiene enters free agency, it is a wonder if the Jaguars will pay up or if he finds a new jersey to wear. Considering the new coaching regime drafted Tuten, I would expect him to enter the 2026 season with at least a third of the touches as the complement to a bigger back. But the more optimistic take is that Liam Coen opens up the offense and utilizes Tuten more as a big play, pass-catching threat.

Dylan Sampson (RB-62 — 5.8 ppg — 22 years old)

2025 Stats: [65 rushes - 175 yds] - [33 catches / 40 targets - 271 yds - 2 TDs]

Sampson joined fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins in the Cleveland backfield in 2025. With contract discussions delaying Judkins’ debut, Sampson got work early, but once Judkins appeared Sampson’s involvement was stifled for weeks. Much of Sampson’s work was as a pass-catcher, allowing for Judkins to handle the ground game. Unfortunately, Judkins suffered a season-ending injury in Week 16, but this allowed Sampson a bit more run.

The Browns’ offense is already slated for a lot of turnover, with the offensive line looking different before free agency even begins. Considering the poor cap situation the Browns are in, I would not expect the Browns to invest heavily in the running back position this offseason. And with a healthy Judkins, the smallest role Sampson should have is as the pass-catching back. It would serve the Browns well to involve Sampson more as he showed in his rookie season flashes.

Sean Tucker (RB-64 — 5.4 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [86 rushes - 320 yds - 7 TDs] - [8 catches / 11 targets - 34 yds - 1 TD]

Tucker is coming off his most productive season after entering the NFL as a UDFA. With lead back Bucky Irving missing seven games in 2025, Tucker split backfield duties with Rachaad White. While White has the size to better handle pass protection duties, Tucker can produce both as a runner and a receiver.

Free agency is only a day away, and the Buccaneers did not tender Tucker, so he will be unrestricted. This does not rule out a return to Tampa Bay, however, as fellow backup White is also a free agent. I am optimistic about Tucker’s dynasty upside regardless of landing spot, as I would expect him to seek out an opportunity where he will be the backup and not the third string waiting for an injury to earn touches.

It is rarely a bad idea to go with the first pick of the NFL draft in this range, especially when it is a quarterback in a superflex league. I have Denzel Boston ahead of Makai Lemon, but in most rankings, the market indicates Boston would be after this trio of receivers. This is the range to buy that early first if you believe in one of these receivers, or sell it to upgrade at a position like quarterback or receiver.

Sadiq is an athletic, pass-catching tight end who can be a top-12 fantasy producer if deployed in the right offense. For Simpson, it will depend on landing spot, but he strikes me as a player who will have at least one real chance to be a starter during his rookie contract. I think this tier is the steepest decline amongst the first round of dynasty drafts, but you could still find managers looking to “get their guy”.

This would be the range to sell for a proven but undervalued veteran or kick the first rounder to 2027.
