Week 7 is here, and it looks like some lower point totals than in prior weeks, even though over half the games were played in a dome. We get one more week of Emanuel Wilson, and we could see Josh Jacobs' season debut. With a thin receiver room in San Francisco, look to Brandin Cooks and Christian Kirk to lead the group. Needless to say, Week 7 offers plenty of fantasy intrigue. And check out the rest of my weekly rankings here.

QUARTERBACKS

C.J. Stroud's Familiar Result Spoils the Best Parts of His Game Against the Bills

START

C.J. Stroud (HOU) v. NYG

  • The Stat: Ranks 4th in End-Zone Attempts per Game — touchdown opportunities.

  • The Spot: At home (dome) as the most-favored team in Week 7 with one of the highest implied point totals.

  • The Risk: Heavy favorites mean the game script could shift to the ground, capping Stroud’s upside.

FADE

Matthew Stafford (LAR) @ LV

  • The Stat: Season-worst Pressure-to-Sack Rate (33.3% - 25th) in Week 6 against the Raiders’ defense, which has the 8th-best Pressure Percentage.

  • The Spot: Injuries to Terrance Ferguson, Davante Adams, and Puka Nacua could shift the offense's focus to the ground game.

  • The Risk: This wouldn’t be the first time Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay’s offense overcame these types of hurdles.
